Trophy Pro Bono 2016: Sagasser is on the shortlist!  

For the first time, Sagasser Law Firm will proudly be taking part in the annual award competition « Trophées Pro Bono 2016 » organized by the Paris Bar Association (Barreau de Paris).

Throughout the year, Sagasser Selas has offered pro bono counselling to the Rotary Club Garches Marne Vaucresson, in order to familiarise the volunteers of the association with the frame work regulating the participatory fund-raising methods.

The project team presented the most up-to-date legal provisions, such as their crowdfunding campaign, which involved organising a fundraiser on the public crowdfunding platform KissKissBankBank that would allow fourty children to experience their first flight. This happened in collaboration with the Aéro-Club Air France.

Thanks to this initiative, not only did Sagasser Selas introduce a new fundraising method to the Rotary Club, but they also ensured that enough money would be raised to organize this once-in-a-lifetime-experience for the group of disabled children.

The Rotary Club Association has been given a new boost thanks to this project and has regained dynamism, thus leading to the decision to repeat the positive experience for their future charity events.

Dr. Bernd Sagasser, partner of Sagasser Selas, and Ms Barrister Barbara Clasen, took care of this crowdfunding project as well as its web marketing campaign.
